Dahlia is relative to similar flowers like Daisy, Sunflower, and zinnia, and Dahlia belongs to the Asteraceae family. Dahlia plant grows up to 5 feet long and has more varieties. The root of this plant looks like a sweet potato.
Plantation: There are two ways to grow dahlias plant, one is from seed, and another is removing the centre branch of dahlias, then we know both ways in this post.
Using Seeds: First, you need to buy seeds from an online or plant shop. Now you have to take soil and sand. For the soil, you have to take 40% and for sand, you have to take 30% and mix it well. After that, you need fertilizer; you can use cow dung manure 30 % or rice husk 10% and mix it well with soil and sand. You have to put this soil in the pot and pour at least 40% into a flower pot.
Now you have to add water to it and leave it for 15 minutes. After that, you have to add the dahlias seeds; remember that the seeds should not come over the seeds. Now you pour 1-inch soil into the pot and then add some water. After all, keep this flower pot in the sun for at least 6 hours. After 5 to 6 days, this seed starts growing and appears tiny small.
Remember while plantation: Before planting keeps a small stone beneath this flower pot and the flower pot size should be initially 8*10 inches.
Planting using Cutting: If you want big flowers on this plant, you cut the middle branch of the dahlia plant when the plant’s growth has increased to 2 feet or more. Remember that this branch has to be built in a big flower pot; then, the soil made is put in the pot. After that, pour soil into a pot until the flower pot is half, then plant the dahlia branch in the pot.
Remember that this branch should be inside the soil for 2 inches and then add water.
Then keep this plant in the sunlight for at least 6 hours. After 4 to 5 days, this branch starts growing and appears as a small new leaf.
