It is native to Asia, Europe, and North America.

How to plant at home: There are two methods for growing yarrow plants at home, one is by using seeds, and another is cutting. Yarrow seeds are so small (size 2 to 3 mm). Always buy the best organic seeds. December or January is the best time to plant seeds at home.

Simple Way to Prepare a Soil Mixture & Planting :

To make a soil potting, take well-drained garden soil (50%), coco peat (30%), and vermicompost (20%). Mix it well and bring a clay flower pot (at least 6 to 8 inches). Fill the soil mixture in the flower pot and spray water properly (Any soil air removed from the pot).

Remember while planting: Soil mixture should be sandy or loamy type and USDA hardiness zone 3 to 8. In a flowerpot, make sure drainage holes are available on the surface of the pot. If there are no drainage holes then, make 5 to 7 holes( it’s necessary).

Now take the seeds and sprinkle them over the soil potting and cover the seeds with the same soil mixture. Now give water to the pot (don’t overwater) and keep the pot in the semi-shaded area or indoor location. Within 15 to 20 days, sprouting starts from the seeds, and tiny leaves (size grows to 2 to 4 mm) appear from the plants.

Top 3 Caring Tips

Watering: Watering is an essential part of plant growth. Always keep moisture in the soil, or if you see the top layer of soil drying up, then water immediately. Before germination, give water once a week or after germination, give water after 2 to 3 days. Always use a water spray gun for watering.

Temperature: These plants thrive in hot circumstances or warm climates. In the winter season, keep plants in full sunlight, and during the summer season, give sunlight at least 5 to 7-hour, or you can maintain a temperature between 15°C to 25°C.
